Ital Sounds hosts African China at New Afrika Shrine

Chinagorom Onugha widely known as @african_china was the special guest at the Afrofusion Reggae Dancehall Nite with Covenant Child (Ital Sounds System), which holds every Tuesday 7pm until Jah time at the New Afrika Shrine.

Despite the UEFA match fun seekers trooped in mass at the New Afrika Shrine to unleashed Tuesday’s stress with authentic undiluted roots, lovers rock and dancehall reggae music.

In a spontaneous chat with Kunle Kuti (@kunkuti) the brain behind Afrofusion and the pioneer of Afrofusion Reggae Dancehall Nite with Covenant Child (Ital Sounds System) he said, “because of the conscious similarity between afrobeat and reggae genre, the New Afrika Shrine is the right, perfect place for reggae lovers to come hangout and unwind”.

Expressing his gladness on the success recorded in the first month of the Afrofusion Reggae Dancehall Nite, he said “Afrofusion Reggae Dancehall Nite with Covenant Child (Ital Sounds System) has come to stay and in no distant time top notch reggae dancehall artistes both local and international will be fielded on a month basis”

He further cleared the vice notion of people towards the New Afrika Shrine saying that “people are easily and quickly brain washed with false information as regard the New Afrika Shrine”

Kunle is a passionate dancehall reggae lover for 15years and counting. He is the son to late ‘prophet’ Fela Kuti and CEO, Afrofusion Entertainment.

Ital Sounds System is incomplete without the Riddim clash. This edition witnessed the following reggae dancehall artistes – Chaka Rankay, Chuk Ceelo, @bigmanolaoluwa @diceangel_o who came all the way from Benin @chellzdegeneral @iamogachux @2scarcee and @giloranks clashed among themselves. Gilo Ranks and Chellz who emerged as winners automatically have for themselves reggae visa as guests on Ital Sounds with Covenant Child on Rhythm FM Network with a growing followership of 40million listeners and counting.
